can't sign-in on windows?

A really weird problem :

Sign in via firefox on tablet = OK
Sign in via Samsung browser on phone = OK

Sign in via Firefox/Edge on W10 = "Error : invalid username or password"

Userid & password are good, as can sign in on tablet?

Caps lock is off.

I can't see odd characters in either userid or password (so I don't think it's an odd international keyboard problem, but I'll check when I next login on it).

I've just reset my password (through my tablet) and can now login on other devices??? Part of the password reset process through my stuff/profile is to enter your password before you can change it, so the password was correct lol!?

I'll put it down to sub-atomic particles flipping a bit in the PH hamster wheel...

It's a mybrainhurts self flagilation - He started a similar thread years ago saying he couldn't log in but he'd changed his username to mybrainurts
