Hi Folks,
Cerbera GT pictured is from TVR Engineering, card 16 issue 5.
Other half would love a set of light covers like these on the 'Peril'
Does anyone know where headlight covers similar to those shown in the picture can be obtained.
I'm told that new Chimaera light covers, which are very similar, do not fit.
I'd be grateful for any help!!!

Hi,

I have the same idea's as you but the TVR factory say "the cars were never supplied with the perspex light covers" but speak to say Colin Blower and he said it came from the factory as standard. I have been speaking to Clive at Zertec and there are in the process of designing something now so hopefully in the next few months there could be a prodution run. I know i will be waiting to have it done.

I have seen very similar slightly smoked and convex covers fitted to a Chimaera at Topcliff TVRCC meeting, it did look nice.

If the cerby has the same lights as the chimaera, these must be the ones.

He was a member the north Yorkshire TVRCC, Gemini may know who he was.

Descrption, light blue Chimaera late registration, bloke was a fairly big build with full and slightly greying beard. (hmm hope he doesn't find that offensive). By the looks of things on the Topcliff meeting, he helps out with NYTVRCC meets.

Not sure if this is of any help, but the Tuscan Challenge cars, have smoked perspex covers over the lights. YOu could contact the factory and ask for these, you'd have to do some re-shaping as i know that they are not an exact match, but might be worth a try??.......

You can't fit the Tuscan or Chimaera covers to the Cerbera, they just won't fit. We are developing some replacement units for the Cerbera for those people who want to change the standard lights but don't like the Tuscan or S12 style lights. They will be available with single (large - halogen) or double (one big - halogen/HID, one small - HID) lights and will be DIY fitment.

Clive,

Excellent I'd like some of the HID ones. Let us know when where and how much.
If you need a test mule let me know.

Thank you all for your replies.
I would be very interested in those new lights Clive. I did make enquiries with Zertec before but nothing was on the cards then.
Will ring in a couple of weeks to see how things are progressing.
Thanks
