Monitor recommendation

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a decent (but cheap) 24 or 27" monitor?

I think the only requirement my son wants is 120fps (is it 120Hz?).

I assume you'll want a minimum of 144hz (or 165/240/360hz).

What resolution? 1080p or 1440p (you won't be wanting 4k/2160p at those screen sizes).

Flat or curved?

Widescreen (16:9 ratio) or ultra-wide (21:9 ratio)?

What is 'cheap'? £150/£250/£350?

For example (using the same brand for easy comparison):

• LG Ultragear 24GN53A 24" 144hz 1920x1080p TN for £160
• LG Ultragear 27GL63T 27" 144hz 1920x1080p IPS for £250
• LG Ultragear 27GN800-B 27" 144hz 2560x1440p IPS for £330

Not bothered about anything other than min 24” and able to run 120fps at 1080. Cheap as possible lol
