Sony 49XF9005 - 120hz on Xbox Series X?

Morning All,

I mostly play Battlefield 5 at the moment and having seen a load of info about the update to support 120fps I thought i'd see what the fuss was about. Alas I can't seem to get my Xbox Series X to do it.

Google tells my the TV (Sony KD49-XF9005) can support 120hz, but the xbox is saying it doesn't. I've tried manually going to the video fidelity menu and changing from auto to HDMI. This then allows me to select 120hz back in the main display settings, but the screen goes blank.

Any advice on whether i'm barking up the wrong tree here? Can this TV support the 120FPS update?

Quick google suggests it can but not at all resolutions and not with HDR.
