BMW E46 M3 Conv - Exhaust flange issue

I have a BMW E46 Convertible M3 from 2005. Well maintained. The exhaust flanges have corroded/broken meaning there is a strong rattle every time I drive over any bump or pothole in the road. BMW can only replace the whole exhaust - at great cost - to fix this. Any other solutions please? Thank you, C

Have you tried an exhaust fabricator? Might be able to weld up some make up pieces / weld some new flanges to the existing pipes of theres good metal left?

You can get aftermarket replacement flanges. I got some for my car, can’t remember from where but some Googling should turn them up.
