Disable auto start stop forever?
Discussion
Hi guys
Just recently got a BMW 435i 2015 and the start stop function has never been so annoying, in my previous BMW i could press the button and the start stop would be disabled for the rest of my drive, it seems now in my new car it decides to turn itself on whilst I'm driving still and it's bugging the hell out of me.
I know I can code this out using the Carly device but seems silly paying all that money just for one function, does anyone know a cheaper alternative or another coding app I could use?
Thank you in advance.

Alternatively let the battery discharge a bit then it will not kick in again until the battery is up to charge.
Leave it with the radio on, or just dump it in the drive for a few weeks until the battery is soft, maybe rent another car to use in the meantime?Idiotic suggestion.

There is a thread on z4forum called "Who has Carly and where" for example, and no doubt similar on other forums.
This. Just say (on here) I live near <location>, does anyone have Carly and can code this for me?The main thing that's codable is that it remembers your selection - so if you've switched Start/Stop off, it stays off. The only exception is if you use Efficient Dynamics mode, which (by its nature) tries to be efficient, so that switches Start-Stop back on. Not sure if a 435i has efficient dynamics, literally no idea.
