Wonder what it cost to ship from Malta.

The lesson is, don't go buying rust buckets located in different countries, on Ebay, at 2 am (probably whilst drunk) smile

1. I think he admitted he’d had a few before purchasing
2. The figure I heard was £7k to get it to UK

And another 10K for the interior, and that's just one bus! hopefully most of the others wont be as bad but the School bus and the fire engine/bus seemed even worse.

Only going to watch this for the Maltese Bus, was a big fan as a child of them, we used to go on holiday there a lot. I think some of my being an engines guy comes from riding on them a lot.

Most of the old 1950's buses have gone from Malta...You hardly ever see one now.

All modern ones now.

They are still there just not used, there's about 15 in use on tourist routes now. I know one of the owners, he let me have a go about 3 years ago.

None of the vehicles need restoring. They don't even need to drive. They can be transported to the field he finds.
They just need to look presentable and be habitable

Last time I went over to Malta, we went in one of the restored buses and it was excellent. They’d installed a rather special tuned Diesel engine and the thing went like a rocket even with a full load. The one JV had seemed jinxed from the outset unfortunately.

I struggle to imagine him running a business that isn't sat on a sofa in a dingy flat making small scale drug deals lol.
Was great in the much loved but unknown comedy film sex lives of the potato men.

Local nympho had punters queue down the stairs and out into the street using cloakroom tickets to decide the order of sh*g.

Filthy and utterly brilliant. Not likely to win awards.

Everytime I see his PA Bev in her shades can't help thinking of a Jake Blues look-a-like contest. I'm a bad person. Sorry Bev.

This is so entertaining, i love it
especially when he blew his kitchen up, JV reminds me of my dad, master of disaster, laugh
and i like the business meeting he had with his renovators, beer
and id never thought id see johnny squeeze into a small hole in a tree, biglaugh

its also very touching and emotional how close JV was with his parents

this is now my favourite thing on tv

They all had different engines, none were standard at all.
