Vette C5 Z06 (LS6) - I have an 85mm on my car (Paul at Woretc) say these were 75 as std. I have an 85 so should get more over std once Paul have tweeked it.

75mm for all "standard" power C5s through '01 (not sure about standard LS1s after '01). The 85mm was used in all Z06s starting in the 2001 model year, but standard Vettes still used the smaller 75mm MAF in '01.

It's just updating us with the answer - very useful... too many questions get asked, nobody answers, the original poster finds out but doesn't record the facts!!

Year later, sad old somebody like me searches through the archives, thinks 'Eureka' that's the question I'm after... and find out nobody answered it...

See Surry Vetteheads at Faimile this month with my Hybrid.

I've just put the 85mm MAf on my HSV - BIG difference

Torque and pwoer throught the rev range, even more noticeable with proper fuel

Even the induction roar has changed. I also noticed the zorst tone was more precise when my wife drove off the other day.

Highly recommemded, but you will ned the PCM calibrating to the new MAF

MENTAL - 3000 miles already! - need tune to optimise it - loom did not have connector in so doing this over next few weeks and then working with Wortech and Surrey RR to get the max from it - it is the weight of our mini less lan a Holden as well!

Mines sort of quiet at idle etc.....its not really that quiet at all when you boot it lol

In fact, at night time, you can hear it for miles !!!! The change is quite dramatic.

Ya - I suppose mine is like that - just quieter than the old nail (tractor of a Rover) at idle but full on SBC noise when loud peddle abused!
