How to send a £33,000 bank transfer on a Sunday?

I'm looking to view a car on Sunday (Private Sale) and need to transfer over approximately £33,000.
Internet banking and telephone banking have lower limits than this (RBS)
Does anyone know of a way this can be done other than waiting on a weekday and going into a bank branch to make payment?

kers. Don’t do it- all the fRing the bank and set the payment up in advance, so that they know to expect it.
I've done payments for cars live with the bank security people on the phone while I make the payment via the app.
Or open an account with a bank / building society that lets you transfer up to £200,000 by BACS as long as it's not to a new recipient.
Yorkshire building society will do this.
Just set up the recipient in advance and send them a returnable £200 deposit a few days before you buy.

Sending a payment first won’t help, only that you both know the acc no’s are correct.
I traveled from London to Blackpool to pick a vehicle up and told Santander first about the expected transfer, made no difference.
I got there and the transfer didn’t work’ called and went through several departments.
In the end the best they could come up with was, try sending £15k and if that works try again with another £15k.
I was buying a Motorhome, the seller agreed that if the 1st £15k went through but the 2nd didn’t, I could stay in the van until it did.
Luckily the 2nd went through.

No, you just call them up, answer the extra security questions and the payment is released It's usually sorted within minutes, the RBS anti-fraud team are excellent

Trouble is that none of the banks are perfect with this sort of thing as they get grief if people aren’t able to make the payments they wish to but hauled through the media if people get scammed and ultimately you won’t know whether it’s going to go through until you try.

The way around this is to split into two payments of below £25k, in this instance £9k & £24k or whatever combination you like.

Correct: the Faster Payments limit is £250k. Many banks will allow this in a branch, but over an app/phone/website there will probably be lower limits. Lloyds website for example is 25k PER DAY, not per transaction.OP, the easiest workaround is to use 2 banks or 2 bank accounts to go above your bank's (RBS) chosen limits.
