A Weird question

ok, so a Chimera comes into the garage for some body work on the boot. the boot needs to be open for it to happen though. so the question is...HOW THE HELL DO YOU OPEN IT?!?!? Weve been trying for litterly 1 hour. so please could somebody help A.S.A.P as we need to get it done.

turn the ignition on and there is a push switch by your right hand knee UNDER the dash!!!

Never forget the first time I picked mine up.
I decided to put some petrol in it. Cue 10 minutes of me searching for the petrol cap.

Ring the seller, "Hello, it's me, where's the petrol cap?", "In the boot" he says.

Ah right. Cue me spending another 10 mins trying to get into the boot.

Another phone call to seller, "Hello, me again...."

Now you've got it open.
I would advise the client and anyone else who reads this post to get the remote boot release system operated by a key fob. You will wonder how you ever did without it.

Razorman, I followed a link earlier on the thread about hot start mods to a clarion site, could not find either prices or any info on the mods mentioned here or in the other thread.

Do you know (roughly) prices

I had Mod-wise kit fitted to my Chim, think about £30. Now have a kit fitted to my Griff which is much better. Separate fob, just press it and boot opens, even with doors locked. £110 I think it was from Carl Baker in Petersfield. Top fellah and advert in Sprint.
