New bike/cassette teeth Sheering off!

I've had some pretty nasty sounding, full gas shifts before but never snapped any teeth off a cassette. Suggest a trip to the bike shop or return of said cassette to the dealer for warranty replacement.

1x(mahoosive) is always going to strain the biggest sprockets to within an inch of their life. The trick is to make sure that you’re engine is sufficient to rarely ( if ever ) need the dinner plate sprockets, and for as little time as possible. If you spend your entire time on the dinner plates, your going to get shark toothing.

With a properly setup 1x chainset, it shouldn't make a difference if you are on the biggest or the smallest cog in terms of chainline angle...

Most aren’t set up properly. You need to make sure you have spacers and shims in place to get the chain line optimal.
