Hi I got an engine warning light which is 2098
Saying post cat fuel system trim too lean
Bank 2
Any help please!
Is it just a new cat needed
It’s a 2003 2.7 boxster

My first thought would be the lambda sensors TBH.
Common issue but can be tricky to change as they can be fricking tight...

Thank you, think you could be right.
I reset the warning and it’s not come back so maybe on way out.
Small issue in the grand scheme of things
I replaced the engine after an IM’s failure and put in new clutch a up rated Carrera bearing with new rms seal and full Message stainless steel sports exhaust two years ago so should be good for a bit lol

Having owned one and having had the same problem, it'll most likely be a blow in the exhaust. Very common, the backbox seals tend to go on these.

Take it into an exhaust shop and ask them to find and repair the leak. Pop new Lambda sensors in while you're at it, but ask them to do it as, like previously mentioned, you have to have herculean strength to do it.
