992 GT3 Ducktail on C4S?

Would love a ducktail for my 992 C4S and notice that the lower spoiler on the new GT3 is, indeed, a nice little ducktail (of sorts).

Any adventurous sort managed to order the part and put one on a non-GT 992 yet? The spoiler’s active aero would need to be deactivated or things could get messy but can’t imagine that’s an issue.

Did see a Chinese outfit doing 992 ducktaila but didn’t look that great so looking at alternatives.

Nothing useful to add regarding your question, but I presume that your username relates to an excellent live album?! Haven't heard it for ages and you've transported me right back to the 80's!

Oh yes, very much so! IM gets played at least once a day. Wish I could afford
IM41 DEN as a personalised plate… Have actually looked around for other Maiden related plates but nothing decent yet.

Collecting the 992 in a couple of weeks so when I do I’ll ask the OPC for a price on that part, if they sell it at all.

Not sure how to disable the spoiler raise/lower but I’m sure it can be done in SW.

This was absolutely the reason given when 991.2 came out as you used to be able to get a ducktail on 991.1....however there’s been a 992 “Sport Classic” mule recently spied which has a ducktail

Thanks. The GT3 ducktail has vents at the rear but you could well be right - That might not suck enough air in.

Good call, and a great spot. I’ll hang about until the Sport Classic comes out (assuming it does) and then see if I can get an original one.

If it was like the last you can’t get Sport Classic specific parts without a Vin number. But someone will surely make a copy.
