Rapide colours

I am ‘casually’ looking for a Rapide, but it seems there aren’t (m)any in bolder colours, I see loads of grey/ black, and the occasional silver or dark blue.

Has anyone got one or seen one in any brighter colours ?

I must be going thru a colour blindness moment as I am thinking it might look good in one of the bolder colours that you see on some of the vantages.

Interesting, maybe because the Rapide is the most "family" and least sports car of all the Astons that owners tend towards safer colours?

I say that as an owner of a very lairy V12VS, but a very conservative silver Rapide.

I have definately seen Morning Frost White Rapides, which is a superb colour and has a rainbow effect close up, and maybe some of the darker, rusty reds and definately dark blues, but nothing bright springs to mind. Guess you could wrap one?

I've seen the "S" in brighter colours - but nothing too bold in the earlier car (yet). There are some about in light blue, similar to the tone the One-77 prototype was shown in.

Hadn’t thought of morning frost - that might work - not sure I would wrap one - but all very good points about safer family colour choices....

Interestingly this looks rather nice - not sure if it’s photoshopped or a genuine car they had for sale.....

Using reverse search on that image indicates it was genuine, and there is the odd Rapide in "non-safe" colours about, although they may be market-specific

Divine Red would look fantastic, I'm sure I've seen a Morning Frost car before in S form.

I've seen one in that colour, it was absolutely stunning...however, it was an AM test car, full of cables & kit, & the driver assured me it was destined for the scrapper once it's work was done.

Looks like Cinnabar Orange. Really stunning colour in the right light, but can look a bit flat and a bit "brown" in poor light too.

Was on my shortlist when I was speccing up my car.

I have seen a brown one recently which I thought looked amazing. Could have been an S though. There are a few Kopi Bronze ones which is also a nice colour.

Best for me was a Pentland Green one Romans had. Remarkable looking thing!

On Tim Cottinghams page on AstonMartins.com shows Rapide - the last two look nice - orange and a metallic ruby red and the ocellius teal Rapide s.

I wonder who bought the three orange Aston’s - they look like they are all LHD

No 2 youtube colour is tops IMO.

Morning frost with a few black accents works well in my biased opinion - all white might be a bit slabby!
