Cheers, was he also wearing short perforated tan leather gloves and jeans with the bottoms turned up?

Simpson Bandit, wasn't it?
The Star Wars was the model before the Bandit but I see they are remaking them - not sure how I feel about that, part of me wants one but like above, I remember how noisy & draughty they were.Edited by graham22 on Tuesday 11th May 18:44

......... typically worn by a camo wearing fat bloke on a bandit 600 with twin aftermarket headlamps.
You called??
If I remember correctly, weren't they meant to be a drag racing helmet??
Lad I used to know rode his tuned Yamaha FS1E wearing one with 'The number of the beast' album cover on the back. He graduated to a 250LC on L plates.
In fairness we all thought they were super cool at the time. They were just so different to everything else. I had a Bell Star but used to lust after the Simpson. In fact, I still have a Bandit now.

Latest Simpson's (venom) are made under licence by vemar I believe, look good and are comfortable, but are incredibly noisy, so plugs are mandatory.
Old Simpson's were never road legal due to the narrow visor, which restricted peripheral vision, this venom is very good in that respect, and its far better than the previous AGV I had.
