Emails on android auto play or how on g31 lci??

Hello collective, active member 15-20yrs ago but not much since.
Just swapped my late 67 plate 530d x g31 for the latest model LCi and can't seem to get on with android auto. All I want are emails to appear on the screen and text messages like the used to in old car! Have connected professional but I'm clearly being a bit thick...
Please help, dealer not able to it seems 🙏
