Finally got the car back after its brief sojourn with Austec to sort out a few niggles (three loooooong weeks - bloody oil pressure sensor
)
Among them was the re-alignment of the back wheels so they could get a 'proper' power curve out of it.
So here it is.....

and that was with month old fuel in the tank and 30 Deg air temp......not that I'm unhappy you understand!

CR box 4 and 5 gear is same as standard.
I was supposed to have mine on the surrey Rolling Road tonight, but has been put back a few weeks. Then I can compare it to the Cerbera's that also went on the SRR.
Do you know if Austec's RR figures are about the same as the Surrey RR?
Certainly some good figures there!
cheers

Have heard Pauls rollers read a tad more than Surrey RR - but having no axe to grind, could not say which is right?
Does seem high to me when Std S is supposed to be 395bhp @ 7000 and only 310 ft/lbs @ 5250. But if slightly modded then good job.

That torque is the SAME as the advertised Sargaris Torgue - which begs the question how can the 400bhp S engine that make 310 (or maybe slightly more) make 355 in the Sag!!!
Torque hard to get in high rev engines - pretty much proportionate to engine size - LS1/6 5.7 chevy's make 350 - 400 ft/lbs and these are 1.7 litre bigger, but similar power.
Heard that an F1 engine make 350ish ft/lbs and 900 - 950 bhp!

Paul (Austec) did say the best he'd seen from an 'S' previously was 380bhp on the same rollers, so, all things being equal.......
There's a place near me with a R.R. and a good rep. for unbiased figures.
I've booked it in for next week, so we'll see what's what.
I do know that this one feels much quicker than the three I drove prior to buying it.
oh, and it was owned by a certain picky sod who used to post on here....J_S_G, so I've no doubt it's pretty near the mark

I'm still around, lurking.
You want to get it RRd when the ambient temp's noticeably lower - 30 degrees & then stuck inside on the rollers can't be helping those figures at all.
