The car in Germany looks like good value but then you have the hassle and expense of going to view it and then import it.
The 2 cars in the UK are good value, but RHD cars can be had for 45-50K so the gap between RHD and LHD isn't massive so I'd probably go for a RHD one. I know I drive a LHD 993 RS but the RHD ones are very expensive. And the pedal positioning on the RHD cars is just rubbish.

I got my 996TT from Germany and it was not difficult and part of the pleasure.
I do not want to write something libellous but Lhdporsche will never sell to me. 1.5 years ago when I last looked in to it some of the people who run it are on the Governments list for banned company Directors with really long bans - so the offence will have been a serious one. Yet they still trade. Things may have changed but be wary. You can get a turbo for the money you mention anyway - better car IMHO :

A slightly unsubtle hijack of the thread here, so apologies for that...
I've heard people mention odd pedal positioning before, but never found mine to be odd in the slightest - do I understand from this that this only applies to RHD ones?

I had an early 964 & had a workshop build a left foor rest - pretty useful for trackdays. This was simply a triabgular (to prevent your foot getting stuck behind it) section of steel fitted to the left of the clutch pedal. Cost peanuts but made a whopping difference.
