Hang about, isn't that the wiper control rather than the indicators (or have I had too much beer tonight?).

( I probably don't know through not having any cause to use these stalks in the past ).

LOL, Nigel, have to hand it to you, top marks for making light of it, that did make me chuckle
On the serious side, how the hell did that happen? Is it a design flaw?

Oh that looks familiar. You could ask your dealer to contact Dream Machines as they came up with a permanent solution to my wayward indicator problem.

They say you shouldn’t own a TVR if you cant fix bits back on, fortunately I am handy with a spanner.

It’s hardly surprising they fall off. The mechanism screws into a hole which goes through a metal plate with a 6mm screw. The metal plate is stuck to a plastic bit inside the pod. There is no way of tightening it down sufficiently without breaking the plastic or separating the two so it’s bound to come work lose sooner or later.

I used some thread locking compound, if that doesn’t hold it next step would be to drill the plastic plate and put a locknut on the back, it’s hard to get at so I am hoping the “glue” holds.

As you havent had your vehicle long, could you not be invalidating your warranty on future pod work if you have been seen to apply your own fix?
