Bikes in the Living Room
Discussion
I had my GPZ 600 behind the sofa in a terraced house - great training riding it in over the pavement in through the front door with mm to spare either side! Used to clean it watching telly and it made a handy guest chair! Seemed perfectly rational thing to do and keep it safe and dry aged 19 in a £19,000 house. Them were the days!
It's a pretty weak article. Images of bikes unconvincingly photo-shopped into marketing images for modern apartments. I know it was tongue in cheek, but would have made better reading if he'd gone out and found people who actually do keep the bike in the living room (fire risk and all) and the back story behind it....

Agreed... in fact isn't one of those pictures (the row of bikes on the mezzanine) actually from the Glasgow transport museum?MGZTV8 said:

Never has a point been proved so beautifully. Well done!
You’ve clearly misinterpreted my humour. Never mind, let’s not fall out anymore. The ex firefighter on here with the QFSM was clearly not offended and put a smiley on. It’s called humour.

For what its worth I don't see a problem with bikes in the house, have done it myself in the past and would again if I could get the damn thing up the stairs

Pic 24 - wonder if it can be negotiated with the house?

I don't really have the QFSM, I was fibbing; just like the other bloke that said he had the MiFIRE but couldn't post a photo of his certificate with a tin of custard.

You had me fooled! :I figure that if you're going to tell porkys you might as well go large!

I remember it well

Then please accept an apology from a still serving firefighter who didn't realise it was a joke

You watch that back of yours. You don’t want to be uncomfortable in bed on nights and struggling to sleep !

All the best ....
