Just made a complete ricket, would appreciate suggestions!

had just redrawn a diagram ,when i found out that the original was correct;
Got the mouse over the undo icon and merrily clicked away watching to drawing slowly revert to v.1
Must have moved the mouse a fraction and the next thing i saw was that the 'toolbar' at the top that included the undo and redo icons along with several other has gone 'missing'

I have been through the dummies book to see ho i can recover but cannot see anything

Where would it be hiding, if it is, and how do i recover it?
OR worst case scenario i have done a full deletion and have to rebuild the toolbar

Just as i was chugging along nicely as well

TIA

It sounds like you've turned off the toolbars somehow:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/lea...

I don't have 2007 but if you right click in the toolbar area at the top of the drawing & then a short menu appears, click on Autocad (if you have a choice) & the toolbar list shows & you can turn them on as required.

I think the one you want is the Standard toolbar:

Use the -TOOLBARS command:

On the command line in AutoCAD, type -TOOLBAR. (note this is dash or minus & TOOLBAR)
Type in the name of the desired toolbar (or enter/choose All). (You want Standard)
Enter/choose Show/Hide to turn the toolbar on or off. (Enter Show)

But before you go messing around, you should be able to find 'Undo' as an option on one of the menus (probably 'Edit').

Get your work back to where you want it and saved before you do any more mad clicking. wink

THIS^

Have you autosave set? about 15 to 30 mins is probably best also a lad I worked with had so many disasters wit P crashing you used to manually save after virtually every command.
