Last time I managed 4.9 mpg.

Followed by new pads & discs - £1100

Followed by 4 new tyres - £400

Followed by oil change & filters - £90

But I know this is small change to some of the upgrades that people put in place for VMAX.

Petrol, I guess 4 tanks for the whole day. £100

Possibly an oil and filter change @ £20 beforehand, that's it

£500 spent today on a Stage 2 Exhaust.

Car will need 2 new rear Yokohamas after Sunday (only done 3000 road miles so far!)About £400

Plus whatever petrol I get through on the day.

Excluding what I spend on bacon & sausage baguettes throughout the day not too bad I suppose.

Funny that Smifffy, I saw your passengers when they got out, looked like they'd just come off a ride at alton towers.

Looks like I got off easily, then - costs were limited to fuel & took a bit of life out of the tyres but plenty left.

Given the quality of rat purveyed by Frederico, the Sardinian Cordon Bleu Rodent Masterchef, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the cost of tyres, brakes, roasted clutch and top end rebuild are rendered insignificant, next to the cost of excess imbibement of vermin au bap.

Gosh, it's Thursday; not long now.

I'm as excited as a small child watching an episode of Crackerjack in 1977.

Hail to Albion.

I did get a shiny yellow chim 500 for that though
