Hello all,

Been on here for a good couple of years and have done a few previous threads but I do tend to change my cars very very frequently so haven’t updated for a while. My new business which I started last year has picked up more than I’d ever imagined. This time last year I was driving a Megane RS250 so things have definitely escalated rapidly and I am forever grateful to now be able to this, it’s a dream.

So. The car. I sold my 2005 Aston Martin V8 Vantage last week after owning it for 6 months, because once I get an idea in my head, I normally just go and do it ASAP. I couldn’t stop thinking about Cayman GT4’s, well, any GT product Porsche tbh, and being as residuals being crazy strong, it made pretty good financial sense and ended up having a lot of cash left over from the Aston. Result!

I picked this up Monday, and wow... I now “get” this whole Porsche thing and why everyone raves about the GT products.

- 2016
- Paint to Sample Birch Green “LichtGrun”
- 1 of 4 in the UK in this colour. 1 of 1 with Clubsport Pack & Ceramic Brakes. 1 of 6 in the world
- Club Sport Package
- 6 Speed Manual with Autoblip
- PCCB Carbon Ceramic Brakes
- Roll Cage in Black
- Sound Package Plus
- 6 Point Harnesses
- Sport Chrono Pack
- 918 Carbon Fibre Bucket Seats
- Alcantara Seats and headlining
- Wing Supports in Black
- PCM with Navigation Module
- Dials in Black
- PASM
- 20” GT4 Wheels
- Porsche Sports Exhaust System

I’m still pinching myself tbh and can’t quite believe it’s real, but apparently it is. Cannot wait to get some more miles on her and get some track days in. There is a couple things I want do potentially, but nothing major, just enjoy it.

Love the colour! The first time I saw it was only recently on an M2 CS.

Congrats! The green is cracking, a mildly different driving experience from the Aston I suspect biggrin

That looks fantastic! Great spec and I'm sure it drives even better than it looks.

Hi all,

Thank you for such kind comments on the car. I cannot get over the amount of attention it attracts, however I think I’m forgetting it is essentially an aluminous Porsche that’s glow in the dark 😂

Well, first week done with the car, wow, I am impressed. No matter what you’re doing, cruising along, giving it absolute death on a back road, or motorway driving... it’s perfect in all scenarios. I even saw between 35-37mpg on the motorway. Ridiculous.

Met up with my friend today in his new 718 GT4 too.

Stunning car but I may be bias! How many miles has yours done? I ask as I think 34mpg is about the best I have had from mine and that was a very steady motorway drive. It’s not done 10k yet so guessing it’s still”tight”

I agree great cars they just do everything so well. Apart from slopes/ kerbs/ any type of gradient! I have ramps to get mine up and down my drive!

Congratulations, that is a lovely car and great to see one in that colour. When i saw 'Birch green' i expected something more like Oak green or BRG, the car really pulls it off though.

I had a GT4 in similar spec - CS, LWBs etc. A very fine car. Mine was in Guards and I thought the attention was a bit much for me but yours must be off the scale.. smile

Niiiiice.

Would love to know how you got a lot of cash left over from a 2005 Aston mind! (I might consider the same if so!).

Very cool car. Not many cars would pull that colour off.

How does the paint to sample thing work though? I assumed that would mean you take a sample of something to Porsche and they paint your car that colour but you mentioned there are four this colour in the uk. Just coincidence?
