I have a t-shirt that has no labels inside and is plain coloured. Every single time I put it on, without fail, I always put it on the wrong way and have to turn it around. I could spend 4-5 seconds holding it up to work out which way, but I prefer the gamble (which never pays off).

There is also a set of traffic lights near me. I swear to God, in all the years I have lived round here, never once have they been green as I've driven up to them. They are always turning red as I round the bend towards them. It used to make me laugh, but now it's like they're taunting me

Any examples from you?

If you're carrying heavy/awkward bags - then you can almost guarantee your keys to be in the pocket on same side that your hand is full.

Not so much now as I don’t carry cash so much but putting your loose change into the charity tin only to find the exact amount you put in, had you saved it, would have stopped you breaking into a fresh note later on.

Matching cupboards in the garage, different keys. Again, it should be a 50:50 but it never goes my way. It is always the other key.

Life generally , was looking at buying a new stove recently , didn't need one but fancied a change . Guaranteed if I'd blown 2 grand on a whim the freezer/fridge/furnace or something would die the following week ,that's sods law .

As a road goes from dual carriageway to single carriageway the vehicle immediately in front, that you have no hope of passing before the change, will be a lorry / caravan / geriatric going well below the limit.

Absolutely guaranteed on a hill as the overtaking lane ends.

Pull cords on curtains.

Doesn't matter if I'm opening or closing the curtains, I get the wrong cord every single fecking time. It's got to the point where I've tried grabbing the first cord, then immediately grabbing the other to see if I can catch sod's law out. Obviously this makes sod all difference! smile

A T junction I use 7 or 8 times a day, I guarantee that as I approach it to join the main road there will be zero traffic passing in either direction.

The second I get to the line and stop and look there will be a slow moving vehicle with a huge queue behind it and not enough time for me to get out on front of it all.

It's like i trigger some traffic as I approach the junction.

Every. Time.

When out cycling on a windy day, even though you are on a round trip, you'll be cycling into the wind for 74.36% of the time! Or so it seems....

When opening a box of tablets, it's virtually guaranteed the little advice slip will always be there, in yhe way. I've taken the advice to open them from the riht hand side when looking at the front label but no, every time.

As a counterpoint quite a few things now orientate the USB port sideways. I've also got quite a few leads with either no marking at all or different marks both sides.

USBC is the future, USB and Micro USB need to die quickly IMO.

They do that on purpose. They cannot make you read them, but the packaging is designed to force you to interact with it.

My commute involves driving 6 miles along a quiet rural B road at 6.30 a.m. I usually don't see any other cars at all coming in the opposite direction... apart from one point where there is a row of 4 cottages with cars parked on the road outside creating a bottleneck, every single morning there will be a car coming the other way at precisely this point meaning I've got to stop and give way.

Buying something, then it gets reduced in price. And the retailer won't do price matching. Bonus points if the item is too bulky to return.
