Need new summer gloves
Discussion
I'm looking for some recommendations for summer everyday / touring glove's to replace my old pair. (no winter use)
Must be:
Leather
Thin construction with minimal lining so you get decent "feel" through them on the controls (I use heated grips for warmth if required)
Black
Offer some water resistance
Small gauntlet to stop wind blowing up your sleeves.
No excessive "armour". I'm not going racing !
Any suggestions ? I use the Sports bike shop web site a lot, but you cant seem to narrow your search to "summer" gloves.
Cheers

As per the previous gloves thread, I'd suggest looking at the Held Gore-Tex range. I've used my Race-Tex for summer touring in Spain, France and Italy, but also used them (with heated grips) on -4/-5 degrees early morning autumn/spring commutes.

I bought these 4 years ago for £79.99 and have been very pleased with them. They're 30% off at the moment. Not done much riding in the rain though.

I'll add a vote for Black K1's advice to look at Held's Gore-Tex range. But what sort of budget (roughly) are you looking at?

What constitutes "excessive" for armour? I have always considered armour essential because hitting a car or the road is gonna hurt without it. But I appreciate some people don't like the look of an armoured glove.(not waterproof)
What about Knox, or gloves with the Knox palm sliders in them?
Knox Hanbury are on sportsbikeshop
