Brightwells live auction

Last day of the timed auction yesterday and with many of the classic car lots due to end within a few hours the computer server crashed. I had been eyeing up a couple of the cars but had resisted placing a bid on either. Today Brightwells are back online with the auction now extended through to Monday. Just shows anything can go wrong just at the worst moment. Too many bidders jumping in to place late bids on so many lots perhaps was the cause of the issue.

Bumped because it happened again last night.

This, again, was the timed classic car auction. Last night, it happened before the first lot ended at 7pm! They've extended the auction by 24 hours because it was all back up this morning; In May 2021, they extended it 5 days...

I went to view the lots in this auction and many of them are fairly poor close up, whilst looking good in photos, as cars often do.
