WBAC Impact of MOT

When I sold a car to wbac I'm sure they required 6 months remaining. I got my car mot'd and drove straight to wbac after. It could have changed since as it was a few years back. I paid something like £20/30 with a voucher offer and was confident it would pass.
If you look at their T&C's they assume 6 months or more. But there is a drop down box on the data you input to change it to less. I imagine it's just another way for them to chip you down if you don't have the six months. The other thing you have to watch is tyres. I think they wanted 4mm on all of them last time I used them.
