Are there any decent discounts on new M5’s at the moment?

A couple of guys I know I have recently bought high spec in stock cars in excess of £25k below list, so I'd say yes.

Autotrader is a good place to start as you'll see £15-20k discount widely advertised and thats the starting point.

Its also a good basis for opening negotiations if you're planning to place a factory order.

That’s a non LCI car so must have been in stock for a very long time, or it’s a used example (lovely colour though).

Got my LCI Comp Ultimate with just over £26k discount a few weeks ago.

Bought an LCI demo from stratstone hull for £67,990.00...with 1400 miles. Only extra was visibility pack but a healthy £35k+ saving over list.

That's a great saving. I'm looking at the M5 LCI just now also.

It comes so well specified as standard I'd only really want to add the visibility pack.

I was impressed with Stratstone Hull - chat to the dealer principal (Daniel Shores and mention me as referal) to see if they have anything else coming through their pipeline - Stratstone seem to price their LCI's very competitively. I would have loved the Comfort pack, tech pack, etc but very happy with just the visibility pack.

Another LCI came up at Hull (customer car) but sold straight away - 4k miles, £69k.

Really depends on the spec, some non-comp M5 are still going for high 50s with almost full option list.
