Shame as it’s a great track for F1 cars - but however good turn 8 might be that scum bag Recap Erdoğan and his regime is equally as bad (or 1,000 worse) and not a worthy place to be having a GP in today’s world.

Not surprised, soon as my August Holiday to Turkey was cancelled i knew there would be no Turkish GP.

Covid is in full flow over there right now. Mad to think 18 months on this is still a major problem globally.

Except weekly cases are down 45% week on week and the week prior they were down 30%.

Shame, it's a good track. Two rounds in Austria worked well last year, though.

That's got to be the shortest amount of time any race has spent officially on the calendar.

What's Erdogan done? Supply weapons to ISIS or something?

Nearly as short as Massa's championship...

I'm guessing you're not Kurdish.

Just noticed this cancellation. A shame, as it’s a good track, but there were sadly always going to be changes to the calendar. Two races at Austria last year turned out to be very different affairs only a week apart, so let’s hope for some weather again this year.

I think it was 38.9 seconds, that Massa thought he was 2008 champion, until Lewis crossed the line in 5th.
