Thoughts on BMW X5 40e

Hi Guys,

I’m looking to get my first SUV and honestly the only one really turning my head at the moment if the BMW X5 40e.

I just wanted to know if anyone can share some light on it as I have watched and read countless reviews and it seems quite decent.
But from a buyers POV, or a previous owners, what mechanical difficulties have you had and what problems have arisen whilst owning one ?

I was v.intrigued after watching Harry's review but BrettMRC's experiences put me right off.

They're not a bad car but the 2.0T does work hard & the fuel economy isn't as good as people expect, if you're doing lots of short journeys then they workout but if you do more open road miles then maybe take a look at diesel hybids or a straight Petrol/Diesel.
