Brembo Brakes /Floaters !
Discussion
I think Im the first person to have their Brembo
discs replaced on the RS
not bad for 1xBrands Hatch trackday
2xHard days at SPA
2xBedford Autodrome
1xRockingham
1xHockenheim
+ some 3000 road miles with some very high top speeds
on the Autobahn
Not bad really - also Parr reckoned that if I replaced
the RS29 pad sooner I would have got another 2 more
trackdays from them
Also I replaced my first set of rears and the RS has done 20,000 miles ( so for all you who say its not a road car/too harsh/blah/blah ..... Bo***x !
cheers

That's interesting Tim. Mind youfrom what he has said I think Steve Rance is getting even more life out of his brakes??????
Yes, that's probably 'cos the nutter never uses them
Being serious though, that is very good usage, and probably double what you would have got out of the Porsche discs Tim ??
My Floating Alcons have done:
2x Bedford Eves
2x hard days at Spa
3x days at the ring
Including approx 2000 FAST motorway miles !!!
And have plenty of life in them still.
Good move for any GT3 tracker IMHO
How frequently do you guys change your brake fluid though ??

glenn,
I also changed the engine oil / filter
and the Gearbox oil ( average every 3 trackdays )
I tend to change the brake fluid when I get a new set of pads in
Also dont forget Steves car has not seen the public roads for some time ! ( thats why his are lasting longer )
I might see you at Silverstone on the 26th
cheers
