Anyone found any combination of settings that gives a reasonable sound from the Bose system. Have tried numerous settings and they all sound awful. Maybe best keeping turned off and just enjoying the engine

Certainly turn off the Surround setting, it makes the sound too boomy and affects the other sound controls for bass and treble. I think there’s another setting you can have, Sound Pilot ? (i’m going back to my 997 here for reference) and that needs to be close to neutral or even on a negative setting.

It also depends on what you’re listening to, radio is difficult to get right whereas Carplay is much more flexible and of course the type of music matters to.
