Viewpoint final episode taken down, apparently everywhere.
Discussion
Firstly, apologies if this has already been covered.
I don't watch a great deal of TV, generally recording a few things which look promising and then watch them whenever I and the boss lady have the time and inclination.
One drama we looked forward to was Viewpoint, recording the first four episodes, and downloading the finale to our Skybox. Having watched the first four, we were dismayed to find that #5 had apparently been deleted by Sky; four hours of our precious weekend wasted.
Whatever the truth is about the allegations against Noel Clarke, what do others think of the broadcasting media reaction? For my part, it is an irrelevance to the series, in the same way that Leslie Grantham's murder conviction was an irrelevance to Eastenders, although cancellation of that may have slowed Britain's descent into chavness.
Does anyone have a link to a working upload of episode #5, which does not involve giving credit card details to an internet scammer?

We were hoping to watch the final episode as well.
I guess ITV faced the dilemna of being critcised for being ignorant and not responding to the allegations made against NC vs complaints from viewers disappointed they couldn't see the finale. The overwhelming response these days seems to be if you're in the public eye you are effectively cancelled until such time as you might be proved innocent.
Clearly the old way of turning a blind eyes was wrong but post yewtree and the like I wonder if the new response is sometimes disproportionate? I see John Barrowman is the latest person accused of misbehaviour.
At the end of the day a "first world problem" I guess but if you find a link post it up.

It's definitely available on some of the 'safe' regular spots.
Not gonna break forum rules by sharing a link publicly though.
You could send a link by PM to the OP, though? Perhaps you have? Not gonna break forum rules by sharing a link publicly though.

Is it really against the Rules? Perhaps, if so, a clue could be given as to which search terms could be used to find the missing episode?

Yep this was incredibly annoying - we watched the first 3 (?) episodes during the week and then went away for the weekend on the Friday and missed the final episode but that was ok as it would be on catch up when we got back
I looked up how it ended and wasn't that disappointed to have missed it but just removing the final episode was a bit of a "f
k you" to anyone that had watched the first three given they were still available on the Monday.

It wasn't long before he went from outright denial to talking of seeking professional help, which painted things in a bit of a different light, but I still think it was pulled a little too quickly. I did watch it on the ITV hub, it was only there for the weekend after it would have been shown. It wasn't an incredible ending, but it did at least tie things up.
