TVR Cerbera tyres
Discussion
I am on the 18 inch spider wheels 225/35 front, 255/35 rear and need to replace all four tyres. Lots of conflicting advice out there and much of it out of date with changing suppliers etc. Welcome thoughts. Being told Bridgestone Potenzas too hard, being steered towards Pirelli PZero or Michelin Sport 4. Last set were Toyo Proxes T1R front and Bridgestone Potenza RE040 rear - have to say never been that happy with the rears, but always hard to compare in reality until you commit to the next tyre! My use is all road, not track, mostly summer (when we eventually get one). Thanks.

You can get the Michelin Pilot Super Sport in the correct sizes, these are the predecessor to the Pilot Sport 4s. These are the tyres I will opt for next, I have most of the rest of the Michelin range on my other cars with great success.
This is what I opted last time, I’d say they’re the best tyres available in 225/35/18 and 255/35/18. It seems summer has arrived at last
I'll have to pop down to check out your Goodyear Eagle F1
Last time I fitted Goodyear Eagle was 1987, I guess things may have moved on since then
You need to try it on track one day, as it will help find any weak spots PDQ
Do you have a day booked for the Tamora yet?

I am running 18 inch spiders with Federal 595 RS-Rs in 225 40ZR18 88W and 255 35ZR18 90W. Tyres were on the car when I bought it but it seems a bit odd with different profiles front and back.
I’m no expert on tyres and haven’t done a track day in it so have nothing to compare but they seem ok on the road.
Cheers

Keep an eye on those tyres, they are known for splitting.I’m no expert on tyres and haven’t done a track day in it so have nothing to compare but they seem ok on the road.
