As per the title, a similar question popped up on Reddit a week or two ago and I don't think anyone could find any.

Basically, any car (or other vehicle, within reason) that was available as front, rear, and all/four wheel drive during the same generation.

So that excludes say, the Ford Escort that transitioned from RWD to FWD, or cars that are AWD and can switch power front to rear.

Any ideas??

Going to be a short list, if indeed any exist at all. The only FWD and RWD in the same generation I an think of would be Clio MK2 with the V6 but no AWD option.

I don't think there is one with all 3, unless it's something very old.

Not a car but I'm pretty sure the Ford Transit has been available in fwd, rwd and awd in the same generation.

MGZT/Rover 75 was available in both front and rear wheel drive. A prototype AWD version was produced but never went on sale.

Good shouts! A van seemed obvious but I didn't realise it was the Transit, Wiki lists it has all three options, but the text on the model only mentions front or rear..

Well obviously the Renault 5 was the same. Sadly no AWD though from the factory.

Not quite, as the contemporary AE85/AE86 RWD options were available alongside the generic E80 FWD cars, and then when you move to the E90 series they had FWD and AWD, but I don't think there was ever a crossover point where RWD, FWD, and AWD were all on sale at the same time.

Nope, all Talbot Sunbeams were rwd, they were based on a shortened Avenger platform which was rwd.
