Looking to get a PHEV of some sort through the company as it makes sense.

Can I get an ex demo / low miles - what’s the exact definition of HMRC new to get the full BiK benefit please.

LOH has just been though this in buying an i3S for his wife.

LOH on his Readers' Cars thread said:
With the current rules, I needed for tax/company reasons to buy new or according to gov.'s website, " a car that has been used for demonstration purposes only". So an ex-demo then? Yes said the accountants! As long as I was the first retail customer.

I think this is what you want. Suggests that demo still counts as new. I was a little surprised by it

Cheers - combined with buying via. PCP it’s a huge saving and preferable to a lease for my requirements.

Mine was a delivery mileage pre- reg, but I was a bit worried when it came with a “used car invoice”. My accountant confirmed that it was good enough to count though.
