Accumulators

Morning all.

In my quest to find a 720S, I keep coming across statements such as 'Accumulators changed by manufacturer' or 'recently had new accumulators'

Are these units really that unreliable or was it a bad batch on the launch Edition models?

Have any aftermarket parts specialists developed a better accumulator? Have McLaren sourced better items?

If this is /was a problem have McLaren finally found a cure for these units failing?

I think you have to consider them consumables.

Not really a big deal anyway, get replaced under warranty.

Mclaren don’t do ‘solve’ they do persist only.
A consumable certainly.
