Tile have joined up so now anyone's Amazon device, anywhere, can report the location of a Tile. What could possibly go wrong.

Clever idea, and while the article says how you can turn it off, it doesn't give any argument at all as to what the risk is of someone connecting to your mesh network. Seems like people with tin hats may want to worry, but normal people will carry on with their lives.

Anyone who has a modern BT router is probably letting others use their internet connection. Never been an issue.

Well it might be tinfoil hat behaviour but an awful lot of people were disturbed to find Amazon had built a police surveillance network using all the Ring doorbells they had sold.
