Just started to think of getting a Cerbera 450 (the Surrey run did not help! - if you see my point). Am I nuts or should I go for it? I'd be looking to get a 3ish year old one - have looked at prices etc and all threads or reliability.
My Chimera is a Silver April 98 R 500, Full Leather, 40020miles Full service history, Rollcentre cage, and 285 AP Discs.
Opinions?

Have you tried one yet?! I'm sure Jeremy will let you test his as he's bust with the Traveller!
Awesome cars . . . Cerberas . . and Tuscans . . .and . .
And you'll be pleased to hear Mr Kola that the Moggie should be fixed today and ready to burn rubber at a moments notice.

I'm keeping my chim and going the woolly hat route. Oh BTW, is there an OK pair of driving gloves to be seen wearing when driving a TVR on a frosty morning?
Hutch
I use black leather gloves (but I do own "driving gloves - very William Woollard!) As long as they grip the wheel and protect your hands from hot gear sticks!
A hanky helps for the running nose!
I have a nice pair of yellow leather gloves. I think they are supposed to be worn by cow poke (ooooer!). Anyway they are jolly nice and only cost about £6....the only down point is that I picked them up at a flea market in Quarzsite, Arizona. Well worth the trip though. Excellent place to buy tacky T-shirts and baseball caps too...

Jeremy - he's bust with Traveller - I take it that means, you were in the Traveller as the Cerbie was Knackered on Sunday - is this telling me something about Cerbie (please tell me it is fine and I've got it wrong) - learn to drive in a light blue (similar to your Cerbie) Traveller - Gearbox was on way out and we got rid of it fast - made some rear wings up out of old oil tins rivetted together and lots of filler rather than get new ones - NICE!
No - Cerbera was simply in for a 12000 service (I'm doing about 1000 trouble-free miles a month at present

). Back now and still running like a dream.
Unfortunately the Moggie was suffering fuel pump problems on the day - but happily all fixed now.

Nope, Jeremy was in the Traveller on Sunday as, due to bad planning
, he was unable to collect the Cerbera from a regular service in time for the Run... The Traveller broke just as it totally blew away about 12 TVR's... Harrigan
