How to dispose of old diesel?
Discussion
Hi
I don't know if this is the best forum to ask, but thought it might be visited by people used to working on their cars and dealing with the associated waste parts and fluids.
I have around 25 litres of old diesel that I am looking to dispose of responsibly. It came out of a car that had been off the road for a few years.
The council recycling centre says they will not take it and neither will the local car breakers yards I contacted - I thought they might as they have to deal with the fluids that they take out of the cars as part of the decontamination process.
I'm hoping PHers might have some helpful ideas?
