Windows firewall won't switch off

I'm running Windows XP and Norton firewall, so have Windows firewall switched off.

Last night, Windows automatic update downloaded a security update.

Now Windows firewall has switched itself on and won't switch off when I select off.

Any ideas?

Try opening a cmd prompt and typing the following...

netsh firewall set opmode disable

See what happens...
