Ever been rebuffed trying to chat up a celeb?

Yep. An ex page 3 model turned singer in the early 90's. I was in a club in London and there she was. Couldn't miss the opportunity. My brother thought I was crazy. I went over and said to her 'Let me buy you a drink and you can tell me all about yourself?' Trying to pretend I didn't know who she was.

Her reply 'You probably know enough already?'

Me 'Well you can buy me a drink and I can tell you all about myself' (quite wittyh I though)

She laughed mockingly and sent me on my way. I went back to my brother who couldn't stop peeing himself. But I called it there again, that she preferred the fairer sex.......

I bumped into Dynamo a couple of weeks ago, in Leeds.
mutual nods a smile and we went our own ways, he didnt try to chat me up,

used to see David Essex about locally, nice guy.

met a few celebs over the years, not tried to chat any of them up.

Many years ago one of the FHM “High Street Honeys” used to work for me … I failed miserably in my attempts to sway her away from her mid-50s (she was early 20s), loaded, boyfriend.

It was indeed. I’d read an article in one of the ever so popular lads mags of the time. I think it was with Martine McCutcheon and she was saying that ordinary guys are too intimidated to approach her. That put the fire on my belly. It was soon distinguished!

I used to work at a pub that was mini le bonk's local. Often used to have a chat to her, lovely lady. I was 19, she was probably 30....I would. Her future husband, a guy called Sebastian was loaded and the son of her producer or something. Punching well above his weight.

She did a celeb opening of my dad's shop in the late 80s. Got a signed calendar from her as a 13 year old...lordy
