Two reasons I'm not interested.
$70,000 price tag and it's a Ford.

Stealing a couple of ideas from Elon there. The iPad pro in the centre console is not the best idea to steal, but it is what it is. The concept of having it as a Powerwall with wheels is quite frankly brilliant though.
indeed, vehicle to home is a massive plus IMO, and the one is the ford (on the large pack models) has a bigger capacity and higher output than a power wallV2H will be mandatory for me on my next car, musk is really lagging behind in a lot of ways, V2H, V2G, powering devices, andriod auto, car play etc.
the frunk space is hugely impressive on the F150 as well

I'm really impressed, loads of clever stuff there. The grille being part of the frunk lid is great, lip is no higher than a SUV boot and probably as big as them. Power sockets and lights everywhere. The shifter getting out of the way so you can plonk your laptop down there to do some work. V2H is a really big deal given all the power issues in the US recently.
The sub-$40k one is commercial (so probably very basic) but $52k (minus tax credits) for midrange XLT is OK. A petrol XLT supercrew is $43k.

Getting lots of conflicting pricesEdited by dvs_dave on Thursday 20th May 08:40
"Perhaps the most startling Lightning feature is its starting price. As mentioned, the base work truck starts at $41,669 and is available for both retail and fleet customers. It is one of four trims; the others are the popular XLT (which starts at $54,669), Lariat (starting price forthcoming), and Platinum (about $90,000)."

I reckon approaching 150 kWh for the long range model, astonishing amount of battery for the asking price!
Seen reports suggesting the battery pack weight 1800lbs (820KG). Assuming 160Wh/KG as an average that's a 130kWh pack. Huge, but not as impressive as the 200kWh behemoth GMC are fitting to the Hummer EV. That's 1250KG in batteries alone.

(reclaimable by a business of course).
Expect to in a long line given how many F150's Ford shift each year. Where's the cyber truck Elon?
Launch a brand new vehicle then immediately announce that you are temporarily stopping production
