I am waiting for the chassis to come back and for the suspension parts. I noticed that the oem bushes are a-symetrical. Did not take pictures before pressing them out. I saw the workshop manual and it is specific regarding the front suspension, but is there a document that says how to press new ones in?

From memory it's only the drag strut bushes that are asymmetrical

...And the rear lower arm front bushes, the ones in the adjusters, for exactly the same reason.

The drag stut bushes are clearly shown in the Cerbera workshopmanual. Which ones do you mean being asymetrical in the rear lower front bushes? When I look at the manual, the upright is shown but i cannot recognize something that should be asymetrical. Just want to be prepared!

Sorry Arjen, I read this but forgot to reply!
If you look at my thread '98 Cerbera, Chassis Restoration, you'll see I asked the question on 7th March, as I had one facing on way and the other side had one facing the other way. It was agreed that it should be positioned to take the braking load ie when the brakes are applied the wishbone is retarding, but the chassis wants to carry on, and 'leans' against the big metal washer, just as it does on the front drag strut.
None of this affects which way you insert this bush into its housing though, as the housing is the toe adjuster and can end up facing either way... just make sure it's facing rearward when it's installed on the chassis.
Hope that helps.
