Ring and Echo Show

I have been trying to work out whether it is possible to set up triggers on the Ring app that should the camera detect motion that it will automatically show on my Echo.

Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how?

Looking at the skill page it infers you can by voice command (to set it up) - I've only a door bell and see no option within the device itself. The Ring help page itself is not helpful, I suggest giving their help desk a shout (especially if you're considering buying but only will if it works).

A workaround I've heard works is to use a dot next to the show set to announce "Alexa show me the ring camera" when it detects motion, this would then cause the show to hear this and display the feed, far from a seamless solution and I'd love to hear of a better one.

Yes relying on a dot to trigger the Echo isnt ideal!

I will give their help desk a ring and see what they say and report back
