Judging by used prices, it seems they're back in fashion? They've always been a bit marmite possibly due to the size and the unbalanced bracelet (which the later model seems to address). I've always liked them and have bought and sod many. Back in the day, they could be had for a tad under £6k.

Last year I sold one with a little dink on the case for £7k to fund a car purchase. Now I'm looking at the market again and it seems that the cheapest are in the low £9ks.

These always seemed good value when compared to subs and GMTs. Have they now followed in their positive price trajectory?

Sea-dwellers in general seem to get less love ... I don't think its fashion, I just think current hype has increased the value of all SS sports models. Personally I have always liked the Deepsea, it just doesn't feel comfortable to wear on my wrists, so the Sea Dweller has always appealed more to me, over the Sub or GMT which feel flimsy and thin by comparison (IMO!).
