Imported Classic Cars : Tax & MOT Exempt??

Hi,

I am aware that classic cars manufactured prior to 1980 are TAX & MOT Exempt.

Can someone please advise whether this is also the case for vehicles recently imported?

Yes, if as per / near original specification and you have some evidence of date of manufacture. Someone else will give a more exact reply.

I recently registered a mk2 escort that had been imported from France a few months prior without difficulty.
