Bit of a long shot because I know it's a little niche .... I have an old Dell XPS 1702X that's now coming up on 10 years old I purchased new in 2011 and it was a bit of a beast then.

Mines mint and amazingly it's still a great machine ! It has a really lovely 17" 120Hz screen with 3D Vision built in and herein lies the problem....

I've just rebuilt it after replacing the 256gb SSD with a 1Tb but Unfortunatley Nvidia have stopped supporting 3D vision.

I use the laptop a lot to watch 3D Bluray's I don't suppose anyone knows where the old drivers can be downloaded ?

Cheers !

Were you offered different versions of that driver ? If it´s not too much work,

try out the other versions, even if they are older in release time.

As I found out in my 3D projection days,

fresh nVidia drivers are often lacking in 3D stereo performance, features and setups,

many problems were cured by installing an older version.

Thanks Benni no not offered other drivers. It looks like Nvidia just stopped supporting 3DVision at a specific driver version and surgically removed it from all drivers after that point.

It looks like I need the last driver release that supported it but i've not made a concerted effort to track it down. Actually I bet it's on Dell support site. I'll check later.
