I've posted a thread in the F1 forum earlier but I'm happy to have one in the "News" section too as Mosley's story encompasses a lot more than just motor racing.

Feels like only yesterday he was having sex parties.

Hope for the rest of us.

Duplicate thread so posting this here too.

This guy used his own money to pay the legal expenses for people, who had been hacked, to sue the press.

https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-mosley-lawsuits...

"Mosley, who won damages from the News of the World after it published lurid revelations about his sex life, said he has agreed to cover the potentially large costs some people risk if they reject settlement offers and press forward with litigation against Murdoch-owned newspapers."

Bloody brilliant!

RIP Max

I always admired him for his decision to attend Roland Ratzenberger's funeral 'because everyone else in F1 was at Senna's'

I've heard this repeated a lot.

HH Frentzen, Johnny Herbert, Gerhard Berger, David Brabham and Karl Wendlinger all attended RR's funeral.

I'm sure his family appreciated that MM made the effort, but it's not quite as it's usually regaled.

Bought a large country house near to me last year and undergoing a large renovation at the moment. All trades under an NDA.

You're only supposed to speak favorably about the dead.

Max Moseley is dead. Good.

I was thinking more "don't care" but also the old adage you shouldn't speak ill of the dead stopped me from writing anything.... but stuff it.....

I have no issue with Moseley's parentage (not his fault) or his sexual preferences (between him and his family) but for me his time in the FIA saw the persecution of Ron Dennis and turning a blind eye or at least minimal punishments to cheating teams and cheating Schumacher that lead to many championships for Schumacher and Ferrari etc that are unwarranted (I'm thinking deliberate crashes on several occasions to secure championships or deliberately hindering other drivers in qualifying).

F1 was a much poorer sport during the time he was involved in it if you believe in fair play.

Well there's the little thing about the fun times he had hanging out with his dad. Lovely chap.

For reasons of decorum I shall not ignite the fire but there are less charitable interpretations of his actions and motives.

He'll have a spanking good send off - a real thrash. I'm sure they'll all get leathered
