BMW F10, Central Locking Issue - I so need help

So there’s the story, wife’s car, central locking not functioning completely!!!

Symptoms; both remotes have not effect on the vehicle. You can lock the car via the hidden key, however when opening the alarm sounds every time. The button on the dash also has no function. Yet, once we reach the mph point all door lock via the anti hijack system and again once you stop the car at destination all door unlock.

Wow - go figure - any thoughts welcomed.

Have checked all fuses and all are fine.

Is the battery healthy?

The main car battery, not key battery?

If it is, I would get the car scanned.


Have you got comfort access?

You have checked the batteries in the keys I take it?

If the batteries are Ok I would go through the key reset process. Plenty of You Tube vids to help.
